Hotel Emir Han offers a good mixture of charm and tranquillity within the Silk Road city of Samarkand. The décor of the hotel is elegant and grand with a blend of rich colours, oriental motifs and neo-classical elements. There are five floors, all accessible by a lift, and each have something special to offer. The first floor has a comfortable lounge, ideal for mingling with guests or reading with a cup of tea, and a splendid patio for viewing the daily goings-on of Samarkand. The rooms are arranged on the ground, first, second and third floors and they all feature an en suite bathroom, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Continue to the top floor to experience the delightful terrace or solarium. The restaurant’s large windows create an airy atmosphere that invites the perfumes and colours of the garden as you sample the local and international cuisine on offer. Additionally, there is a pool in the summer (May to October).
