Located in the heart of tiger country, adjacent to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, this divine getaway is designed around a series of individual safari lodges with villas and suites. All 12 rooms are wonderfully decorated, with minute attention to detail and an outdoor and indoor shower. Two main lodges with spacious lounges on the top floor open onto wooden decks with machans or observation towers for bird and wildlife sightings. Between safaris you can swim in the open-air swimming pool, work out in the gym, enjoy a meal in the restaurant or read a book in the library. Please note, Bandhavgarh National Park is closed every Wednesday afternoon. The lodge will arrange birdwatching walks or village visits outside the park.
